The Mahaffey Motorsports Super Comp / Quick Rod 230 inch 4-link dragster was painted by alcohol funny car pilot Bruce Mullins. Rubbing it out was Jason Welch and Tommy Cable. Tommy also designed and applied the lettering. The only thing missing is the wings.
is the first all-Mahaffey chassis with chrome front suspension and
cage with black powder coating.
It's easy to see effort and skill that has been a trademark of Mahaffey's cars. The multi-time "best engineered award" winner in the NHRA, IHRA, and ISCA says, "This car can walk the walk and talk the talk."
The cockpit is built for combat just like the fighter aircraft. These controls and electronic components are all the right stuff. All together this car can make any driver look good!
Mahaffey used a Bill Mitchell 540-C Big Block Chevy. The carb to scoop transition is rectangle to round for a perfect fit. The filter is K&N and flows 1250
CFM. This is not your average dragster!
